Jessie was born at Mobray Road In 1924
Jessie lived in Southwick for many years until her Father died in a vehicle accident 1928. In 1936 her Mother re-married and Whitburn would become a family connection.Jessie had worked in an amuunition factory in 1941, before meeting Albert Britton in 1946. They had seven children together, John,Jennifer,Anthony,Bill,Linda,Edna & Raymond.She had also worked at the old Paper Mill & at The Eagle Pub before working on the Jolly Buses, until she retired at 60. She had moved to Pennywell in 1950 until 1974, then, she moved to Rowan Close, she loved this house, and vowed she would never leave it. After retiring she liked to attend the Community Centre for the over 60's and very much enjoyed her trips that she went on with all of her good friends.
Social events:
Jessie particularily enjoyed her trips out where she liked to collect Thimble's & Plates from wherever she went.
